Bosses
Deadline Escape currently has 6 bosses placed across the four raid maps. Each boss is backed by Renegade minions, carries signature gear, and drops a unique dog tag worth significantly more than faction tags.
Boss Roster
| Boss | Map | Arena | Weapon | Dog Tag |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blade | Warehouse | Near Operation Room | Z50 | 80 $ |
| Viper | Crossroads | Near Bunker 04 (ghillie suit) | XT25 | 100 $ |
| Shadow | Mall | Mega Mall parking/center | R4 + SWAT Vest | 180 $ |
| Big Ink | Deadrise | Dormitory | VKU | 150 $ |
| BK | Deadrise | Construction Zone (1F + 2F) | PK15 | 130 $ |
| BombShell | Deadrise | Military Base | VK7 | 200 $ |
Common Boss Characteristics
- Significantly higher HP and damage than regular Rebels/Renegades.
- Always surrounded by Renegade bodyguards — expect 3–8 elite humans alongside the boss.
- Unique dog tag drop (stacks to 5, higher sell price than faction tags).
- May drop keys for the map they appear on — a chance to get a locked-room key without spending chips.
- Boss difficulty scales with difficulty settings: Hard+ multiplies HP and damage noticeably.
Preparing for Boss Fights
Gear Checklist
- Mid-tier AR or DMR as primary — sustained fire is required.
- Suppressor on primary when possible — minion control is half the fight.
- Medkit + 2 Lesser Medkits in quick slots.
- Extra magazines, loaded, and at least 2 full ammo stacks on Hard+.
- Armor Plates to repair vests during or after the fight.
- Full Tac or Cop Helmet — boss weapons routinely land headshots.
Combat Tips
- Clear minions first. Engaging the boss with Renegades still up is how raids end badly.
- Cover, peek, fire, reset. No boss can hit what it can't see.
- Distance favors the player for most bosses — exceptions are Big Ink (VKU SMG) and Blade (Z50 SMG), who shine close-up.
- Headshots on armored bosses (Shadow's SWAT Vest, BombShell's bomb suit) — body shots waste ammo.
- Watch the raid timer. A drawn-out boss fight can cost you the extract if you don't pace yourself.
Map Routes
- Warehouse: Blade (solo boss, beginner-tier).
- Crossroads: Viper (solo boss, long-range fight).
- Mall: Shadow (open-arena, heavy Renegade escort).
- Deadrise: Three bosses — Big Ink, BK, BombShell. Plan each raid around one target; they are too far apart for a single-run sweep without high-end gear.
