Ammo

Ammunition comes in nine calibers, each paired with specific weapon classes. Heavier rounds (.338, 7.62×51) stack less per slot but hit harder — firearm damage is set by the gun, but stack size, weight, and loot footprint come from the ammo itself.

Special ammo types such as AP and HP rounds are not yet implemented as of v0.0.3.

Tips

  • Standardize on one caliber per raid. Pistol + SMG sharing .45 or 9mm saves a huge amount of inventory space.
  • 7.62×51 covers both DMRs and most sniper rifles — it is the go-to late-game round for pure firepower.
  • Buckshot is cheap per 10 rounds, but shotguns reload one-by-one, so bring extras.
  • Keep a small stack of starter .45 / 9mm in a secure container to rebuild loadouts after a bad raid.
