Accessories

Accessories are a head-slot attachment worn under a helmet. With one exception they are purely cosmetic and do not affect stats — and, as cosmetics, they are invisible to the wearer in first-person.

The lone functional accessory is Night Vision Goggles (NVG), which enable night vision mode toggled with the N key.

Night Vision Goggles

• Sold by the T3 Weapon Trader at 900 $ + Crypt Coin ×1. Unlocks at Level 10.
• Essential for the dark bunkers on Crossroads and Deadrise, and any raid where you want to save flashlight batteries.
• Weighs 1.8 kg and occupies a 1×2 slot — minimal cost for a massive vision upgrade.

Quest / Trade Value

Several accessories are used as trade-in materials:

• Rebel Headpiece, Yellow Headpiece, Red Headpiece, Balaclava, Glasses — together form one Dogtag Box at the T2 Weapon Trader (800 $ + 1 of each).
• Hunter Cap — trade-in for the Ammo Box.

Save cosmetics you pull off kills rather than selling them for their tiny base price.

Tips

• Unless you are grinding for a cosmetic look, the only accessory worth a slot in raid is Night Vision Goggles.
• Cosmetic accessories are great sell-piles — 30–50 $ per 1×1 slot adds up fast when you pull them off rebel and renegade kills.
