Viper

Viper is the boss of the Crossroads map. He patrols around Bunker 04 wearing a full ghillie suit, wielding the game's highest-damage DMR. His fight is the target of Zac's sub task "Viper's Last Shot."

Minions

• 3–4 Rebels patrol Bunker 04's surroundings.
• Loud engagements can pull additional rebels from inside Bunker 04.

Strategy

• Never hold a long sightline — the XT25 out-ranges most player weapons and its body damage is a 1-shot against mid-tier vests.
• Engage from outside Bunker 04's aggro radius. If you need to reach Viper, approach via the tree line or low terrain south of the bunker.
• Use a suppressed weapon for the patrolling rebels. Drop them one at a time and move before repositioning.
• Mark Viper's position before the killing shot — the ghillie suit camouflages his body post-death. Losing a boss drop to mis-navigation is a real risk here.
• The Zac sub task does not require the dog tag — killing him is enough to turn in.

Loot Priority

• Viper DogTag — 100 $ per tag, 5-stack.
• XT25 DMR — possible drop; one of the hardest-hitting 7.62×51 marksman weapons.
• Bunker 04 Key if you brought one and want to clear the bunker interior after.

Tips

• Complete "Viper's Last Shot" early — the reward is an Attachment Box, which is worth far more than the individual attachment trade-ins it saves.
• Pair with the Key Trader to farm Bunker 02/03/04 keys on the same run.
